And Happy Father’s Day! I hope your summer is off to a great start. I did want to end the school year without posting some pictures from our last week of school:
I was able to upload the video that I made for graduation to YouTube for those that weren’t able to see it. I had to break it into two videos.
It was a great last full week of school! I can’t believe another graduation has come and gone. Thank you so much for celebrating a wonderful year with us at graduation last night. We have a short but fun week ahead to finish up the school year.
Monday: Field day: Students will be served a pancake breakfast and a BBQ lunch. The should come dressed for running around all day (inside and out) and prepared for some water games. They will need a water bottle and maybe some sunscreen and/or bug spray.
Tuesday: Beach Day: We are not meeting at school but we will meet at Ferry Beach around 10. If the weather is going to be poor, we don’t have an alternate plan. There will just be no school. Hope to see you at the beach!
Wednesday: Half Day: Free jeans day. Students will just need a snack and will be dismissed at 12:00. Awards night for 1st-10th is at 6:00pm.
Here are a few pictures from last week:
I really can’t believe that this is our last full week together! We will celebrate summer birthdays on Wednesday and Graduation is Friday. I will send out an email with a list of things not yet signed up for if anyone is able to provide anything. Graduation will begin at 6:30 and graduates should arrive at school at 6:15 to get caps and gowns on (for girls, please keep in mind their caps when doing hair 🙂 )
Monday the 10th will be field day and this is for K-10th grade. Students do not have to wear uniform but dress for a day of running around outside. They may need sunscreen and a water bottle is a good idea. We will start the day with a pancake breakfast and then lunch will be provided. I don’t believe we will take a break for snack.
Tuesday the 11th will be beach day at Fairy Beach in Saco and all families are welcome to join us. We will not meet at school but everyone will meet at the beach. More information will go home this week.
Wednesday the 12th is the last half day of school for K-10. Awards night will be that evening and is for 1st-10th grade students.
Please let me know if you have any questions as we wrap up the school year. Here are some pictures from last week:
We had a wonderful day on Friday at Happy Wheels and Spare Time. Last week the Kindergarten class took the spring NWEA tests so I will try and catch parents these next few days to go over their scores. We only have a couple weeks left of school so watch your calendars for the end of the year events. I hope to celebrate summer birthdays in class on Wednesday, June 5th. Friday, June 7th is PreK’s last day of school and our PreK/K graduation night! Invites will go out soon. That next week will be beach day (all are invited to Fairy Beach in Saco) and field day for K-10th. Wednesday, June 12th will be the last day of school for k-10th and it’s a half day of school. Awards Night will be in the evening for 1st-10th grade students.
I hope you are all enjoying this long weekend and this beautiful sunshine! Here are some pictures from last week:
The Kindergarten class will be taking the NWEA tests this week. We are scheduled to take Math on Tuesday at 8:30 and Reading on Thursday at 8:30. There will be no gym class on Monday and no Music or chapel on Wednesday. We end this week with our school trip to Happy Wheels and Spare Time.
Sorry, I only snapped a few pictures this week!
What a beautiful weekend to celebrate Mother’s Day! Just a few reminders for this week:
-This is your last weekend to order a yearbook.
-If you haven’t turned in your field trip form for our school trip to let us know if you are attending or not, please do that ASAP.
Here are a few pictures from our week:
Last week was a little busy but we made it through and had fun. I hope you have all dried off and warmed up from our trip to the Maine Wildlife Park. I guess it’s spring in Maine!
This week is our last ministry trip for the Helping Hands Ministry. I meant to get the permission slips out by the end of last week, but they will go home on Monday. We are going to the Limington food pantry on Thursday morning. We will leave school at 9:15 and be back by 11:15. Please bring any donations in before we go.
Everyone should have received the field trip form for our end of the year trip. This year we are going roller skating and bowling! Make sure you return the forms by FRIDAY!
Please make sure you sign and return progress notes.
Lastly, if you want a yearbook, this is your last week to order one!

I hope you all have a blessed weekend. This week we are going to the Maine Wildlife Park on Thursday. We will leave the school at 8:30. Make sure you dress for the weather and bring a bag lunch and any money for feeding the animals and the gift store if you would like.
This week 4th quarter progress notes will go home. And time is running out for ordering yearbooks if you haven’t done so yet. I have past yearbooks in my classroom if anyone is interested in seeing what they look like. Let me know if you have any questions.
Lastly, our last ministry trip will be on Thursday the 9th to the food pantry. A permission slip will go home by the end of the week.
